MoreBetter Privacy Policy

MoreBetter (“MoreBetter” or “Site” or “App”) has created this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) in order to demonstrate its firm commitment to privacy and explain how the Site and App use information collected from Users. In adopting this Policy, the intent is to balance the Site’s legitimate business interests in collecting and using personally identifiable information and Users’ reasonable expectations of privacy. The following discloses the information gathering and dissemination practices for MoreBetter.

ALL USERS OF MOREBETTER SHOULD CAREFULLY REVIEW THIS PRIVACY POLICY, AS IT CONTAINS IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT USERS’ LEGAL RIGHTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES.
 

Definitions

  1. “Content” is information, materials and other content, including, but not limited to, video, sounds, text, and designs.

  2. “Transaction” means any exchange requiring a financial payment that is initiated by a User.

  3. “User” refers to any Internet visitor or user of MoreBetter, namely a person that seeks to use and engage with MoreBetter Content.

  4. “Visitor” refers to any individual Internet browser that may view any portion of the Site, particularly public portions of the site that do not require registration.

  5. “Site” refers to the MoreBetter website and associated pages, accessible at http://releafapp.com.

  6. “App” refers to the Releaf phone application, owned and maintained by MoreBetter.

  7. “Third Parties” means any person or entity that is not MoreBetter Ltd.

 

Website Privacy Policy

Non-Personally Identifying Information

  1. Information Collected from Visitors. MoreBetter collects certain information from all Visitors to the Site that is not personally identifiable. This information includes, but is not limited to, the User’s: internet service provider (ISP); internet protocol (IP) address, including applicable location; and internet browser type, version, and operating system (OS). MoreBetter also collects the date and time of a Visitor’s exit and entry on the Site, the names and addresses of referral sites, the specific pages a Visitor chooses to visit on the Site and certain search terms that a Visitor may have employed to find the Site

  2. Use of Information from Visitors. Information collected from Visitors is used for purposes of internal reviews, including, but not limited to: traffic audits, tailoring of pages to a particular User’s technology environment, analyzing traffic and search trends, generating aggregate demographic information, and general Site administration. At this time, such information collected from Visitors is not shared with any Third Parties. However, MoreBetter may exercise the right to disclose such non-personally identifying information in an aggregate, anonymized form, or as anonymized session data, at a future date, with notice consistent with section 3.H Privacy Policy Modifications. Should MoreBetter decide to disclose such information to Third Parties, MoreBetter will do so in accordance with all relevant national and international laws.
     

Personally Identifying Information

  1. Registration by Children Prohibited. Pursuant to MoreBetter’s Terms of Service, only users thirteen (13) years and older may register for an account with MoreBetter. Pursuant to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA), MoreBetter generally does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under thirteen (13) years of age. Upon notice that MoreBetter has inadvertently collected personally identifiable information from a child under thirteen (13) years of age, MoreBetter will take all reasonable steps to remove such information from its records as quickly as reasonably possible. Please contact MoreBetter at contact@releafapp.com to report any such violations of MoreBetter’s Terms of Service and to facilitate removal of such information, pursuant to MoreBetter’s Privacy Policy.

  2. Information Collected from Users. At this time, MoreBetter does not require Users to provide personally identifiable information in order to register or use MoreBetter’s Site. Should MoreBetter decide to change this policy, MoreBetter will notify Users of the changes to its Privacy Policy and Terms of Service in accordance with Section 3.H Privacy Policy Modifications.

  3. Location Information. MoreBetter may collect location information from Users using tools such as: IP Addresses, global positioning systems (GPS), Wi-Fi, or cellular tower proximity. MoreBetter may use location information it collects for purposes of providing relevant Content based on a User’s physical location, for conducting internal review, and for analyzing location data related to MoreBetter’s App product. At this time, MoreBetter does not share location information with any Third Parties. However, in the future, MoreBetter may exercise the right to disclose location information to Third Parties in an aggregate, anonymized form, with notice consistent with Section 3.H Privacy Policy Modifications. Should MoreBetter decide to disclose anonymized location information to Third Parties, MoreBetter will do so in accordance with all relevant national and international laws.

  4. User Provided Content. At this time, MoreBetter does not allow Users of the Site to provide, publish, or post personal Content, such as pictures, video or other intellectual property a User may own. Should this policy change, MoreBetter will Notify Users in accordance with Section 3.H Privacy Policy Modifications. To the extent that any User-Provided Content appears on the Site, Users understand and agree that MoreBetter shall have an absolute license and right to use, copy, distribute, or otherwise display User-Provided Content on the Site, as well as Third Party sites with whom MoreBetter may have agreements.

  5. Communications with Users from MoreBetter. Information collected from Users may be used by MoreBetter for purposes of communicating with Users, including, but not limited to, sending Users occasional e-mail messages from MoreBetter, corresponding with Users via email in response to User inquiries, providing services that Users request, and otherwise managing User accounts.

    1. Users may opt-out of future promotional mailings from MoreBetter by employing methods provided in Section 3.G Opt-Out and Modification of Provided Information.

    2. Even where a User chooses to opt-out from promotional mailings, Users will continue to receive administrative emails related to the usage and functionality of the Site.
       
  6. Use of IP Addresses from Users. IP addresses collected with personally identifiable information may be employed by the Site for identity, safety, and security purposes. Such uses include, but are not limited to, identifying specific Users or preventing access to the Site based on a User’s IP address.
     
  7. User Historical Data. MoreBetter maintains a historical record for each User. This historical record may include, but is not limited to, prior Transactions, account history, Site activities, and related data. This data may be employed to assist the Site in identifying potential liabilities, resolving disputes, troubleshooting problems and enforcing all terms of the Site. These data sets cannot be completely removed for any reason, including User request.
     

Additional Terms

  1. Security. MoreBetter employs commercially reasonable security methods to secure the privacy of Site Users, including, but not limited to, password protected file systems and similar means of protection, designed to protect the loss, misuse, and alteration of information under the control of MoreBetter. While MoreBetter takes commercially reasonable security precautions, the Site is not responsible for data breaches of Third Parties, such as payment processors, web hosts, or advertising providers.

  2. Voluntary Public Disclosure. The Site may include features such as, but not limited to, User listings, User Content, discussion forums, blog comment forms, and related tools that allow Users to publicly share information about themselves. Any information a User discloses in these areas may be publicly available on the Internet. Such information may be read, collected, or used by Third Parties. MoreBetter is not responsible for personally identifiable information a User may choose to publicly disclose. To the extent that a User posts any personal Content, such as pictures, video or other intellectual property a User may own, Users understand and agree that MoreBetter shall have an absolute license and right to use, copy, distribute, or otherwise display User provided Content on MoreBetter, as well as Third Party sites with whom MoreBetter may have agreements.

  3. Third Party Websites. This Policy applies only to information collected by MoreBetter. The Site may contain links to other Third Party web sites that are not owned or controlled by MoreBetter. These sites control their own privacy practices and are not bound by this Policy. MoreBetter is not responsible for the information or services provided on Third Party sites, nor is it responsible for the privacy practices or content of such sites

  4. Cookies. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a User's computer for record-keeping purposes. MoreBetter uses session cookies and persistent cookies in order to provide insights regarding how well the Site performs on User devices and to track information such as page views, conversion rates, device information (such as browser version and operating system), Visitor IP addresses, and referral sites. MoreBetter uses this information to increase the performance, functionality, and security of the Site. By continuing to use the Site, Users consent to MoreBetter’s cookie policy. Disclosure may also occur in order to prevent or report suspected fraud or suspected illegal activities.

  6. Ownership of Data. MoreBetter may exchange personally identifiable information among other entities owned or operated by MoreBetter. Were MoreBetter to engage in a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale, personally identifiable information of Users may be among the assets transferred.

  7. Opt-Out and Modification of Provided Information. Users may opt-out of communications from the Site. Users may request that their information be modified or removed from MoreBetter records, or preclude future communications from MoreBetter, by sending an email with their request to contact@releafapp.com. Users may also request to have their accounts deleted. In order to request account deletion, Users should send an email with their request to contact@releafapp.com.

  8. Privacy Policy Modifications. MoreBetter retains the right to modify this Policy at any time, and changes shall become effective immediately upon publication. While MoreBetter will notify Users of changes to MoreBetter’s privacy policy by posting a notification banner on the homepage of the Site for two weeks following any changes to the policy, each User is obligated to review this Policy on a regular basis.

  9. Contact Information. Any notice or other communication regarding this Policy shall be written. Users should email all such notifications and communications to contact@releafapp.com.
     

Releaf App Privacy Policy

Non-Personally Identifying Information

  1. Information Collected from App Users. MoreBetter collects certain information from all Users of the App. This information is not personally identifiable. This information includes, but is not limited to, the User’s: internet service provider (ISP); internet protocol (IP) address, including applicable location; and internet browser type, version, and operating system (OS). MoreBetter also collects session data regarding how a User uses the App. This data includes, but is not limited to, the date and time that a User initiated a session on the App, how long that session lasted, how often a User updated the App with information during that session, the information a User recorded with the App during the session, and the Cannabis information the User input into the App at the beginning of the session.

  2. Use of Information from App Users. Information collected from App Users is used for purposes of internal reviews, including, but not limited to: traffic audits, tailoring the App to a function and perform better with a User’s technology environment, analyzing trends in session times and durations, generating aggregate demographic and Cannabis efficacy information, and general App administration. MoreBetter may also share this information with Third Parties, such as, but not limited to, Cannabis dispensaries, in accordance with all relevant national and international law. Non-personally identifiable information that MoreBetter discloses to Third Parties is shared in an aggregate, anonymized form, or shared as anonymized, raw session data. Users cannot be uniquely identified by Third Parties through the User information that MoreBetter discloses.
